Description
The Plant Manager will coordinate and direct the operations, maintenance, quality and engineering departments within a growing facility (revenues over $10mm and growing by 10%+ this year). Total plant employment is approximately 85 employees. The Plant Manager will have 6-7 direct reports. We operate 24/6 and all plants maintain IATF 16949:2016 certification.
Responsibilities:
- Full P&L responsibility across production, engineering, quality and product development.
- Lead manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Develop and improve processes to enhance quality and reduce costs.
- Direct customer engagement to support quality and business development goals.
- Maintain and update process documentation.
- Participate in regular senior management meetings.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
- 5 plus years direct operations leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (ideally more), preferably in the automotive industry.
- B.S. in Engineering, preferably with some background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Proven track record of management of hourly employees in a manufacturing environment.
- The ability to interact with multiple levels within our customer’s organization.
