Job Description

Provide preventative maintenance and repair on company's medical equipment on-site at hospitals in Seattle Metropolitan Area. This role will require applying a detailed understanding of electromechanical systems and the tools and processes required to complete the work. Daily focus will be on high-quality equipment service and on building customer relationships to drive growth opportunities. The selected technician, working remotely, should reside in the Seattle metro area and/or Tacoma, WA and be prepared to travel approximately 50-75%. A company vehicle will be provided and all travel paid for by the company. 
 

Day-to-day functions:

  • Maintenance, repair, installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at customer locations (medical facilities).
  • Technical diagnosis and repair cost estimates on customer-owned medical equipment.
  • Assists the Sales team in marketing company equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo and trade show set-up, etc.).
  • Grow Service Contracts revenue through service contracts and renewal of existing service contracts.
  • Align with all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by company policy, customer requirements, and regulatory agencies.
  • Completed and submit accurate reporting.
  • Spare parts inventory management.
  • Daily driving and flying to customer locations (medical facilities); 50-75% overnight travel

Must-Have Skills, Experience, & Education: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required.  (Associate’s degree in an Electrical or Mechanical field preferred)
  • Repair and maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment.
  • Electrical and mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull 75 pounds.

    Field Service Representative / Driver

    The Field Service Representative / Driver is responsible for the maintenance, cleaning, delivery and pick up of Company medical equipment that is used on rental basis by local hospitals and nursing homes. This position is based in our Kent service center but will involve local driving to and from Seattle-Tacoma area medical facilities using company vehicles.

    Pay: $25 - $27 / hr. base pay
    Full-time - 2 Shifts Available: 
    - Tuesday-Saturday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm (+ 8% Differential)(+ OT and performance bonus)
    - Tuesday - Saturday, 7am - 3:30pm (+ OT and performance bonus)
    Plus rotating on-call coverage.

    Day-to-day functions:
    • Prepare medical equipment and documentation for delivery
    • Load and unload medical equipment
    • Drive 26 foot box truck to make deliveries and pick-ups
    • Process delivery and pick-up documentation as required
    • Maintain vehicle appearance by ensuring all routine vehicle maintenance is completed and records maintained
    • Clean and disinfect medical equipment to Company quality standards
    • Present highest level of customer etiquette in all patient/customer interactions
     
    Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • MUST HAVE clean driving record
    • Two(2) years’ experience within service or operations field
    • Two(2) years’ experience in front-line customer-service
    • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, & Outlook
    • Ability to lift up to 75lbs and push/pulling up to 135 pounds
