Go to end ⇓The Senior Industrial Engineer – Quality & Continuous Improvement leads continuous improvement initiatives across operations, driving lean and process optimization efforts. This role owns quality systems, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, issue tracking, and process documentation. The engineer analyzes operational data, develops dashboards, metrics, and KPIs, and works with ERP systems to optimize process flows, material routing, BOM management, and work order execution. The role also supports process engineering in an engineer-to-order (ETO) environment and collaborates cross-functionally to drive strategic operational improvements.
Continuous improvement projects, applying lean methodologies and process optimization across operations.
Quality systems, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive measures, and issue tracking.
Training, documentation, SOPs, and competency frameworks to support operational excellence.
Operational and performance data to build dashboards, metrics, and KPIs for continuous improvement.
Process flows, material routing, BOM, and work order management within ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Process engineering in an engineer-to-order (ETO) environment, including facility layout, equipment utilization, and scaling strategies.
Cross-functionally with suppliers, other units, and stakeholders to implement strategic improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in ETO or complex, low-volume manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, CAPA, process mapping, SOPs)
- Proficient in data analysis using Excel, BI tools, Tableau, or similar
- ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Effective communication skills with ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Experience in process improvement and continuous improvement leadership roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment
