• You will work with customers to electrically/mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment to include cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking and refrigeration.
• You will typically leave from home each morning and work with minimal direct supervision at customer sites.
• You will meet or surpass weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the table:

• An accredited High School Diploma or GED and 4-6 years of similar electrical/mechanical experience
• You must have a valid Driver’s License and ability to drive multiple hours daily
• You should be able to work Overtime and On-Call as required
• You must be able to attend our industry leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH

• Move in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces

Working Conditions

• Office facility and customer facilities (including commercial kitchens of various types of businesses)
• Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet dirty conditions may occur
• Travel requirement up to 50% of time
  

Hours of Work

• Normal business hours with occasional/frequent/extended hours as needed
• Flexibility with schedule to meet critical deadlines
• Extended hours may include nights and/or weekends
• Normal scheduled hours cover early mornings, evenings and/or weekends

Description

• Provide technical assistance in the design, application, installation, and troubleshooting of equipment line controllers.
• Serve as a point of contact with associated personnel inside and outside the company at various levels including engineering and sales support.
• Recommend materials and designs based on special customer requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment changes and installation techniques.
• Provide after-sales technical support and service as required, including on-site visits to support electrical installations if necessary.
• Work with engineering, sales support, and after-sales departments to resolve issues related to equipment function and application.
• Analyze regional market demand, collect feedback and customer requests, develop new solutions, and initiate regional product development.
• Develop documentation, manuals, and additional material to support products and provide training.
• Perform detailed review of project specifications, schedules, and design drawings.
• Recommend product improvements to ensure ease of installation and improved function.
• Develop testing and troubleshooting procedures for installation and operation.
• Establish installation standards in collaboration with the after-sales department.
• Support all regional offices and training/development programs.
• Assist the sales team with special quotations such as spare parts or unique customer requirements.
• Perform other projects as assigned.

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to design wiring diagrams
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering
• Strong problem-solving skills
