Position Description:

Technical Repair Activities:

• Repairs company medical instruments to manufacturer's specifications. Before repair, decontaminates and cleans biohazards from medical instruments. Performs electrical safety tests on instruments.
• Provides technical advice to Field Service Technicians, BMET's and Customer/Product Support Department to troubleshoot and repair companys' instruments. The technical advice is related to electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, chemical, refrigeration and fluid hydraulics areas. This "Help Desk" guidance may be by phone, fax, computer, in writing or in person.
• Travels and performs field service repairs on company instruments to minimize customer downtime.
• Evaluates repair procedures and service manuals for future revisions.
• Performs quality inspection of medical instruments.

Training Activities:

• Performs Training of Field Service Technicians, IRVs (Independent Repair Vendors), BMETS, SFA/SFE Service Technicians and Engineers and other personnel as assigned by management, on how to: install, decontaminate, repair and test company instruments. Training may be at off-site locations.
• Participates in the development and revising of Instrumentation Service Manuals

Information Management & Reporting Activities:

• Documents service reports and technical advice to comply with FDA requirements.
• Composes Service Bulletins for distribution to IRV's, Distributors and other Sakura entities.
• Coordinates product improvement and failures to Manufacturing and Product Development Departments.
• Conducts analysis of service failures from the field and compiles comprehensive reports.
• Plans, coordinates, and prepares technical reports as required.
• Attends and participates in group meetings, task force groups, etc., as needed.

Quality/Business Systems Activities:

• Ensures standards for ISO 13485 certification are met.
• Recommends measures to improve instrument quality and performance.

Other Skills:

• Ensures that all Service Department areas are in a safe, orderly, clean, and functional condition.
• Suggests improvement in departmental work processes and procedures.
• Attends technical meetings and seminars when requested by Manager.
• Maintains good communications both inside and outside of the Company.
• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties.

• Bio-med industry experienced FSE candidate - must have 3+ years of industry experience within the healthcare industry

Description

Shift: B-Shift // 6pm - 6am on a 2-2-3 shift schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) working every other weekend and also includes a 3-day weekend every other week!

Position Description:

Using hand tools and test equipment, the individual will perform maintenance on both electronic and mechanical equipment, such as industrial controls, computers, and servo-mechanisms, following blueprints and manufacturer's specifications. Performs duties within cGMPs for Medical Devices, maintaining change control, notifying QA/RA and engineering where necessary and makes adjustments only within documented and validated limits. Ensures compliance with company's quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and company's safety regulations, policies and procedures. Specific responsibilities include:

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnose causes and repair equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory.
• Support engineering projects-ordering and installation of new equipment, new equipment IQs.
• Continuous Improvement projects to reduce expenses, improve reliability, and reduce waste.
• Test electronic circuits to locate defects and understand the use of oscilloscopes, signal generators, amp meters, and voltmeters.
• Install, modify and understand control panel wiring. Work closely with the Controls group to understand and modify PLC programs and maintain PLC ladder logic programs.
• Train operators and assist with machine set-ups/operation as required.
• Work with central crib to maintain an inventory of spare parts, both fabricated and commercial.
• Troubleshoot and repair of pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Propose design changes and review with engineer to upgrade equipment, eliminate re-occurring problems, improve product quality, reduce costs, etc.
• Duties may require correction of problems during off shifts on a call-up basis. Work closely with tool room to make timely repairs. Work schedules may fluctuate due to product and process start up or machine issues, as well as training of new associates on the off shifts. Must be flexible and willing to work overtime when needed.

As a CSE, you will travel regularly throughout assigned region to customer accounts; your region is centered around Shreveport, LA and stretches approximately 2 hours in all directions. • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 75 lbs (with assistance)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills

• 1+ year of mechanical, biomedical, or field service experience
• Experience servicing hospital beds, stretchers, or medical equipment
• Low-voltage electrical troubleshooting experience
• Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) background
• Military mechanical or electrical experience

Reporting to the Operations Manager, Logistics Coordinators is responsible for setting up, managing and ensuring flawless execution of the complex array of logistics required for live organ donation and transplant. Logistics Coordinators partner with member transplant centers, 3PLs/couriers, testing centers, airlines and internal team members (technology, operations).

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end logistics of kidney transportation, ensuring timely and secure delivery - pickups, receipt on board, flight departure/arrival, airline recovery, delivery confirmation.
• Schedule and monitor courier vendor activities.
• Manage GPS tracking system fleet (GPS systems provide real-time reporting on kidney shipments).
• Keep leadership abreast of GPS fleet operational efficiency and security.
• Identify opportunities/make recommendations for process improvements (operations, software, etc.).
• Ensure that operational logistics data is integrated into digital platforms for real-time tracking and reporting.
• Assist in the collection and analysis of logistics data, donor trends, and operational performance.
